AMD Radeon HD 5750/5770

Introduction

Stopping over AMD! Apparently determined to take advantage of its technological lead over its competitor, namely NVIDIA, AMD continues to vary in its new graphics architecture. A few weeks ago, AMD offered the first DirectX 11 graphics card with the Radeon HD 5850 and 5870. Aimed at high-end segment, these cards are now complemented by two new standards: the Radeon HD 5750 and 5770.

Based on the same architecture, DirectX 11, these new cards aim this time the mid-range. In a few weeks ago, AMD proposes a range of DirectX 11, already consisting four references when NVIDIA does offer alas still nothing. The former founder of Sunnyvale thus benefits from free field to display its arsenal. Unlikely usual, AMD chose not to use the name 5600 for its mid-range cards ... preferring to go directly to the 5700 series.

But as good as the news lead for Radeon HD 5750 / 5770 are positioned and how do they deal with Radeon HD 4850 and 4770? What are their characteristics? The response will be figured out in the test that we spend today here.
